With sympathy to his family, I remember Dick as a most personable and dependable pharmaceutical representative many years ago.

Thank you for sharing such an incredible man with all of us here at UVMMC. He was a very special man and I am so glad to have had the opportunity to spend time with him listening to his stories and enjoying his laughter. May your memories give you strength in the days ahead.

My heart goes out to the entire Smullen family. Along with my Dad , Mr. Smullen taught me how to pitch starting at the age of 7. When I saw him through out my life he was always positive and seeing if he could help me in any way. I do know this for a fact he will be missed by all that he helped through out his journey!

This man made me laughand I mean belly laugh. He was the connsumate storyteller (mood shirts I will never forget) and the webs he weaved could only belong to him, as he explained his different exploits in baseball and dating Rosie. I am richer in heart from time spent with Dick. RIP my friend, your pal Joy
