I was so saddened to learn of Don's passing. I had the sincere pleasure of knowing Don because he was my Dad's best friend (Chief Metcalf) and I worked with both of them while at General Electric. I will miss his smiling face at the clubs and hearing endless stories of their hunting trips at the camp in Randolph, work adventures and sharing my Dad's home brew. Don always had a warm hug and hello for everyone and he will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to the members of his family.

Don and I were close friends through school and graduated from BRUHS TOGETHER in 1957. We joined the USAF in Sept. of that year. I regret that we did not spend much time together after he returned to the Burlington area in the 1970s. That was my fault. He was always such a good person. R.I.P. Don. Perhaps we can make up for the lost years on the other side.
