I can not believe he left us so soon. He was a great kid who had his own perspective on life. Always reminded me that having fun and being a little silly was all part of the experience. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to know him.

Dear Hoeppner Family,

Words cannot describe how sad we are for your loss. Paul was a great source of comfort and comaraderie for our son Jack when they traveled across the Big Pond and roomed together sophomore year and as also earlier this year, when they made their way down to NC for Habitat for Humanity. He has a beautiful soul that will continue to shine and our thoughts are with all of you.
