My first memory of Bob was meeting him at Eno’s Market. I remember his smile and seeing him joking around with uncle Ed and teasing Aunt Janet while working together in their neighborhood store.
Bob was the friendliest person, it was amazing how he made people feel comfortable and included everyone nearby in conversations and in his fun.
It was always great seeing Mary and Bob at Grandma’s house and store, selling apples at Amblo’s

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Brownie was a true friend to so many. When he walked in a room you felt his presence and a calmness he ignited over so many, especially in the funeral business. He was a true husband, father, grandfather, brother and Elk. He is implanted in so many hearts and will be missed by so many.

Bob was one of the nicest men I ever met. He always handled himself with class. I so enjoyed all the time spent with Bob during the youth football years when I really got to know him. He will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to his family.

Our most sincere sympathy to Bobby’s entire family. We both knew him and enjoyed his friendship for many years. In fact, he was a paperboy for the Oakes family as a kid. A sweeter kinder person would be hard to find. The heartfelt compassion he showed at the time of our parents’ passing will never be forgotten. Always ready to greet us with smiles and hugs, he loved and cared for us all in his own special way that was
