Carol F. Muir, 74, of Burlington completed her earthly journey and has gone to with her Lord and Savior and all who have gone before her and wait for those left behind on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the McClure Miller VNA Respite House in Colchester. She was born on December 10, 1943 in Burlington, the daughter of the late Allston and Marie Goddette Farrell. In 1962 Carol married the love of her life, Michael Alem Muir Sr. Together they had three children, Lisa Wheel and significant other Michael Healy, Karen and husband Patrick Hall and Michael Alem Jr. and wife Teresa Gokey Muir. They were blessed with seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Watching them grow was the joy of her life. Carol also leaves behind three siblings, Tom and wife Becky Farrell, Nancy and husband Jay Hahn and Sherry and husband Ken Lamphere. Carol enjoyed being with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed her travels to; NY World Fair 1965, Camping at Grand Isle, her first trip to Maine, Flagstaff Arizona, Vegas, NY City Rockettes, Hawaii, Casino on the Bus, traveling to Florida and the Carolinas Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ready Funeral Home and Cremation Services South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Rd. Burlington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Christ The King, Burlington. Interment will follow at the East End Cemetery, Williston. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to American Cancer Society or the Miller McClure VNA Respite House.
