Catherine Barbara Bernard, 93, of Burlington, VT. passed away peacefully May 3, 2018 at the Starr Farm Nursing Home surrounded by the people who loved her dearly. She was born on June 19, 1924 in Grand Isle, daughter of the late William Wilbur Blow and Martha Isadore Burnham. She was predeceased by her husband Peter, her daughter Martha, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her only sister Eva Muhr of Nebraska, sister-in-law Willie Bleau of Connecticut, and loving and devoted Cynthia Hebert of Colchester who was like a daughter to her. Also, Charlene and Rod Muhr and family of Williston, Ann Marie Hovey and family of Stowe, Barbara Ann Forant of Massachusett, and many nieces and nephews. Many, many thanks to all of the staff at Starr Farm Nursing Home for all their help to get Barb through this journey. There will be a burial service at Calvary Cemetery on Plattsburgh Avenue in Burlington on Saturday, May 12th at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements were made by the Ready Funeral Home on Shelburne Road in Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Epilepsy Foundation of Vermont P.O Box 6292 Rutland, Vt. 05702
