Jeanette B. Rochford, 84 of So. Burlington died on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the VNA Respite House. She was born in Burlington, Vermont on September 8, 1932 the daughter of the late Leon and Stella (Cardinal) Bouchard. Jeanette owned Bouchard Store when she met her husband to be Bill. She sold the store and became a full time mother with the birth of her first daughter. She and her husband raised five children to become the best that they could be. She enjoyed gardening and playing golf. She loved watching her Red Sox and Bruins. Jeanette is predeceased by her husband of 60 years William Rochford; Jeanette is survived by her children Jacinta Benenati and husband Richard of Williston, Marcia Rochford and wife Gail Del Bianco of Leesburg, FL, William T. Rochford, II and wife Jill of Milton, Michael Rochford and wife Tracy of Florida, Christopher Rochford and wife Rebecca of So. Burlington; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; her brother Ronald Bouchard and his wife Antoinette of Shelburne, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Marie Blaise and Dorothy Verchereau. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 4pm to 7pm at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Rd. Burlington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:00 am in St. John Vianney Church with burial to follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Jeanette's memory may be made to the McClure Miller VNA Respite House, 3113 Roosevelt Highway, Colchester, VT 05446.
