Judith P. Barron, 60, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2017 at her home. She was born in Burlington, VT on November 6, 1956 the daughter of the late Daniel and Beatrice (Boisvert) Provost. She was a hairdresser by trade but more recently worked at Bath & Body Works. Her true calling in life was being the best Mother & Nana ever; she will be dearly missed!! Mom loved spending time going to Kierstin's softball games, Brady's football games, & Cooper's T-Ball games. She loved seeing her grandkids excel, and to this day, Nana is the only person that Chase has gone poop on the potty for, a fact that she was proud of. Mom kept a pin with her at all times that said "Nana is another word for love", and if you knew Mom, you knew that love just flowed from her. That love she had for everyone trumped any personal needs, and she would only think of herself after those around her were ok. Her love is now re-united with Mimi & Duke and she can, and will finally put herself first! Judith is survived by her son Jason Barron and his wife Jessica of Williston and daughter Emilee Barron of Richmond; her grandchildren Kierstin Barron, Brady Johnson, Cooper Andrew Barron and Chase Daniel Barron; her brothers and sisters, Jean Provost of Williston, Robert Provost of So. Burlington, Michael Provost and wife Carole of So. Burlington, David Provost and wife Deborah of Williston, Shirley Beecher and husband James of Milton, John Provost and wife Lisa of Grand Isle, James Provost and wife Victoria of Milton and Gary Provost and wife Diane of So. Burlington. Also surviving Judith are numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Church on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 10:00 am with interment to follow in Resurrection Park Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 9, from 3pm to 6pm at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Road, Burlington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf.
