Michael was born on December 16, 1959 and passed away in November 2018.

Michael was a resident of Richmond, Vermont at the time of passing.

He graduated from Cumberland High School in 1978 and Roger Williams College in 1982.

Brigadier General Michael T. Heston served as the Deputy Adjutant General for the Vermont National Guard and as Assistant Adjutant General - Army, Vermont National Guard. General Heston received his commission from Vermont's Officer Candidate School in 1990.

Calling hours will be held at Saint Michael's College Chapel on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 12:00-3:00 pm and 6:00-9:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:00 am at Saint Michael's College Chapel in Colchester, VT, with internment to follow with full military honors at the Veteran's Cemetery in Randolph, VT.
