Pamela Jane Argy, 65 of Williston passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at UVMC. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 9, 1953 the daughter of the late Donald F. Argy and Thelma J. Borrows. She graduated high school at Yorktown Heights, she received her Bachelor’s degree from Stoney Brook University and received her Master’s degree from St. Michaels College. Pam retired from IBM as a systems Analyst after 32 years in 2008. Pam belonged to the Immaculate Heart of Mary church where she taught religious education and bible study. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the movies, spending time with friends and family, especially her cat Whisper. Pam is survived by her brother Patrick Argy and wife Ellie of Burlington; her stepmother Barbara Argy of Hartsdale, NY; many nieces and nephews; and by her dear friends who were with her to the end, Chris Cutler, Katy Corcoran, and June Lais. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara A. Milne in 1993. Visiting hours will be Monday, May 14, from 3pm to 6pm at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service Mountain View Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Dr. Essex Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 15, at 10:00AM in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Williston. There will be a luncheon after mass then burial to follow at Resurrection Park Cemetery Columbarium at 1:00pm.
